• •Build across ShipX, Swift's logistics platform — a federated GraphQL estate (Apollo Federation) of Node and Fastify services on Kubernetes and GCP, backing React web apps and an Expo / React Native driver app. Nine months in, I have shipped to 17 of its services.
• •Own driver incentive vouchers end to end: unit counting, revocation and pricing rules in the backend; bulk actions, Net Pay reporting and export in the web app; and the voucher and shift views drivers see on their phones.
• •Built the driver app's shift lifecycle — open and close gated on odometer and GPS readings, double-submit guards, remark limits and payroll-cycle defaults — so shift data arrives clean instead of being corrected after the fact.
• •Hardened the driver app's authentication and offline behaviour: queued sign-in with a timeout fallback, token refresh, forced logout for inactive drivers, and telemetry that separates pre- and post-redirect failures to expose logins that were failing silently.
• •Added document capture to the driver app, pairing camera capture and cropping with backend Optical Character Recognition so paperwork is read into structured fields instead of being keyed in by hand.
• •Wrote the shift-sync integration in the driver checklist service: per-business-unit feature flags across a dozen operating units, age-bounded shift reuse, system-generated open and close events, and a queue enqueue gate pinned by tests.
• •Work in the main web frontend, a Module Federation host — leg detail modals and hover popovers reused across delivery and staging plugins, dynamic field rendering and tagging, trailer size resolution, and filters persisted in the URL.
• •Maintain the Handlebars document templates ShipX renders to PDF — incentive vouchers, consignment notes, job manifests, invoices and credit notes — with their variable bindings, auto-populated fields and preview data, held as versioned records rather than files.
• •Built the operations dashboard's daily summaries on BullMQ and Redis, and a conditional mapping layer that resolves field references and comparison rules for forwarding export reports.
• •Tuned MongoDB compound (ESR) indexes for job and container number search, and split shared Redis connections so queue processing stays correct under load.

Ara Damansara, Selangor

• •Built and deployed full-stack, serverless applications using React, AWS SAM, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
• •Developed GraphQL APIs with AWS AppSync and implemented secure access using AWS Cognito for authentication and authorization.
• •Automated deployments with AWS CodePipeline and GitHub Actions, improving release efficiency and reducing manual errors.
• •Enhanced frontend performance and reliability using Redux Toolkit, Jest, and Postman for comprehensive testing coverage.

MITI, Malaysia

• •Maintained and optimized the database system for the Ministry of Investment and Trade (MITI) to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• •Prepared and submitted weekly and monthly maintenance reports detailing database performance, updates, and improvements.
• •Actively explored and experimented with the Laravel framework to enhance backend development skills and streamline web application workflows.
